When it comes to movie soundtracks, the ’80s were the absolute best! Think of all the great songs that were included in movie soundtracks from the ’80s. Here’s just a few of our favorites:
- Don’t You (Forget About Me) from The Breakfast Club
- Eye of the Tiger from Rocky III
- Purple Rain from Purple Rain
- Footloose from Footloose
And, one of our all time favorite songs from an ’80s movie soundtrack is this one, Holiday Road from Lindsey Buckingham. To me, this is a perfect example of how synonymous a song and movie can become. The moment you hear the beginning of this song, you immediately think of the Griswold’s heading out for their family vacation in the Wagon Queen Family Truckster!
Enjoy this trip down memory lane with Holiday Road from Lindsey Buckingham!
