Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley on Oprah in 1988 with Jackie Collins and Pamela Des Barres

I remember watching this episode back in the day. In 1988, Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley from Kiss were guests on The Oprah Winfrey Show along with Rock Star author Jackie Collins and rock star groupie Pamela Des Barres. The conversation centered around rock n’ roll groupies and the rock start lifestyle. Both Gene and Paul answered every question thrown at them with complete transparency and honesty.

As you can imagine, not everyone in the crowd appreciated their honesty, but what do you expect when Gene Simmons tells Oprah he slept with at least 2,000 different women in the last ten years. If you break that down, he slept with a different woman every other day for 10 years… Oy.

Enjoy this look back at Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley on the The Oprah Winfrey Show back in 1988!
