The Motels had two top ten hits in the ’80s. The first was 1982’s Only the Lonely from their ’82 album All Four One. The second was Suddenly Last Summer, which peaked at number nine on the Hot 100 charts and number one on the Rock charts in 1983. They scored one more top ten Rock hit in the ’80s with Shame from 1985.

Enjoy this look back at The Motels with their music video for Suddenly Last Summer from 1983! And, just for fun, we’ve got their music videos for Only The Lonely and Shame below as well. Enjoy!
