Tom Petty – ‘Free Fallin’ Music Video and Lyrics

March 16, 2019 By the80sruled 1 Comment

Tom Petty’s music video for his number one rock song ‘Free Fallin’ from 1989!

“Free Fallin'” Lyrics:

She’s a good girl, loves her mama
Loves Jesus and America too
She’s a good girl, who’s crazy ’bout Elvis
Loves horses and her boyfriend too

And it’s a long day livin’ in Reseda
There’s a freeway runnin’ through the yard
And I’m a bad boy, cause I don’t even miss her
I’m a bad boy for breakin’ her heart

Now I’m free
Free fallin’
Yeah, I’m free
Free fallin’

Now all the vampires walkin’ through the valley
Move west down Ventura boulevard
And all the bad boys are standing in the shadows
And the good girls are home with broken hearts

Now I’m free
I’m free fallin’
Yeah, I’m free
Free fallin’

Free fallin’, now I’m free fallin’, now I’m
Free fallin’, now I’m free fallin’, now

I wanna glide down over Mulholland
I wanna write her name in the sky
I’m gonna free fall out into nothin’
Gonna leave this world for awhile

Now I’m free (Free fallin’, now I’m free fallin’, now I’m)
Free fallin’ (Free fallin’, now I’m free fallin’, now I’m)
Yeah, I’m free (Free fallin’, now I’m free fallin’, now I’m)
Free fallin’ (Free fallin’, now I’m free fallin’, now I’m)

(Free fallin’, now I’m free fallin’, now I’m)
Now I’m free
Free fallin’
Oh (Free fallin’, now I’m free fallin’, now I’m)
Free fallin’ (Free fallin’, now I’m free fallin’, now I’m)
Now I’m free (Free fallin’, now I’m free fallin’, now I’m)
Oh, free fallin’ (Free fallin’, now I’m free fallin’, now I’m)
(Free fallin’, now I’m free fallin’, now I’m) Free fallin’

I can remember when Tom Petty first sing this song. I have it on a 45RPM that I played over and over! That was back in 1969, when I was a senior at the University of Akron College of
Education. One year later, I got my first teaching job for less than $6,000 net per year. But, I mananged since the cost of liiving was way far cheaper than it will ever be if DJT has his friggin’ way by screwing around with taxes and high tariffs on foreign markets. He is not a favorite president in China, according to a very good friend who was in the same classes at the University of Akron,She has reached out to me inviting me to come to China!!
