Hill Street Blues aired on NBC for seven seasons from January 15, 1981 to May 12, 1987. The show followed the lives of the staff of a single police station located on Hill Street in an unnamed large city. In its debut season, Hill Street Blues won eight Emmy Awards, a debut season record later surpassed only by The West Wing. The show won a total of 26 Emmy Awards during its run, including four consecutive wins for Outstanding Drama Series. It truly was one of the ’80s greatest TV shows, and this look back at the cast of Hill Street Blues from Star News is very well done and will leave you longing for the good ole days of ’80s TV.
