On September 26, 1980, Steve Martin dropped by the Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. Martin always did something different/crazy when he came on the show, and in this episode, he does his “Wild & Crazy Guy” standup routine and then sits down with Johnny and orders dinner while talking about his upcoming projects. It’s vintage Steve Martin, and Johnny’s reaction when his food is delivered is priceless.

Enjoy this look back at Steve Martin ordering dinner on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson in 1980!
