Red Rider – ‘Lunatic Fringe’ Music Video

August 6, 2017 By the80sruled 1 Comment

Red Rider scored a number of top 20 hits on the Billboard Mainstream Rock charts, but they’re remembered for the most part for their 1981 single Lunatic Fringe, which peaked at number 11 on the Rock charts. A huge part of the song’s lasting success comes from being featured in the ’80s classic movie, Vision Quest.

Enjoy this look back at Red Rider’s music video for Lunatic Fringe!

I would like to know what speakers they used when they toured shortly after this song came out. I saw them in Portland Oregon & when they did this song the whole building shook hard! I’ve been to a lot of concerts, but never experienced anything quite like that. (Of course I was high…it was in the late 70’s)
