The pilot episode of Miami Vice aired as a two-hour pilot movie on September 16, 1984. In the famous scene below, Crockett (Don Johnson) chases down Tubbs (Philip Michael Thomas) and jumps off a bridge into the boat that Tubbs was driving. They get into a fist fight and then realize they’re both cops. And so begins the partnership between Miami Vice’s Crockett and Tubbs!
