‘Cult of Personality’ was the second single from Living Colour’s debut album ‘Vivid’ back in 1988. It peaked at #13 on the Hot 100 charts and #9 on the Mainstream Rock charts.
The music video was a huge hit on MTV winning the Best Group Video and Best New Artist awards at the 1990 MTV Video Music Awards, and the song won a Grammy for Best Hard Rock Performance.
