‘Up Where We Belong’ was a number one song for Joe Cocker and Jennifer Warnes in 1982. It was recorded for the soundtrack to the movie ‘An Officer and a Gentleman’. In 1983, the duo won the Grammy Award for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals. The song was featured on the Billboard Hot 100 year-end charts at #27.
