Sudden Impact was the fourth movie in the Dirty Harry series. It was released to theaters on December 9, 1983. In Sudden Impact, Dirty Harry is famous for uttering “Go ahead, make my day!” That is one of our all time favorite scenes from any movie. Another great scene from Sudden Impact is this one where Harry confronts Threlkis, a powerful crime lord and tells him a story that quite literally gives Threlkis a heart-attack. It’s classic Dirty Harry!

Enjoy this look back at the Words Can Kill scene featuring Dirty Harry in 1983’s Sudden Impact! And, just for fun, enjoy the Go ahead, make my day! scene as well.
