After leaving Van Halen in the mid-80’s, David Lee Roth released his debut full-length solo album, Eat ‘Em and Smile’ in July 1986. ‘Yankee Rose’ was the first single released and it was a top 20 hit on the Hot 100 charts and a top ten song on the rock charts!
