In 1986, the American rock duo, David & David, composed of L.A. studio musicians, David Baerwald and David Ricketts scored their first and only top 40 hit on the Hot 100 charts with Welcome to the Boomtown, from their debut album Boomtown. The song was also a top ten hit on the Mainstream Rock charts, peaking at number eight. This is a great song!
