Bob Saget Visits The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson in 1989

On January 4, 1989, Bob Saget stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson and shared some baby pictures he had bought from an antique store. The store claimed the photos were authentic baby pictures of Johnny, Ed, Doc, and Fred de Cordova, the producer of the show. You’ve got to see the photos to appreciate the bit. Ed’s photo was our personal favorite.

Saget then told a story about having gohers in his backyard and calling up Walter the Gopher man. Throughout the entire interview, Saget had Johnny laughing and smiling, which is what Saget was known for throughout his career. Someone who just wanted to make people laugh and smile.

Enjoy this look back at Bob Saget on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson in 1989!
