Tap was released on February 10, 1989 and starred Gregory Hines and Sammy Davis Jr. In the movie, Max Washington (Hines) who was just released from prison must decide whether he wants to return to a life of crime, or pursue his passion of tap-dancing.

In this famous scene, Little Mo played by Sammy Davis Jr. announces that Max has issued a challenge saying that all the old timers have lost their legs. What ensues is an impressive display of tap-dancing from both the old-timers and Max. Enjoy this look back at the challenge scene from 1989’s Tap.
