In 1980, Christopher Cross released his self-titled debut album and gave the world two amazing songs forever: Ride Like the Wind and Sailing were the first two singles released from the album, and they remain two of his biggest hits, and two of the greatest songs from any artist from the early ’80s. Ride Like the Wind peaked at number two on the Hot 100 chart in 1980, and Sailing hit number one on that same chart in 1980 as well!
