The Karate Kid and Karate Kid II both made over $130 million as the box office, and both were among the highest grossing films of the year when they were released. One of my favorite scenes from Karate Kid II was when Chozen challenges Daniel to break through six sheets of ice. Daniel tries to get out of it, but Mr. Miyagi shows up and bets $600 on the 3-1 odds that Daniel will break all six. Of course, Daniel breaks all six, and Mr. Miyagi wins the bet!
