In 1988, I was a senior in high school, and watching music videos on MTV was one of my favorite things to do. 1988 was a great year for music, and the top ten songs on the Hot 100 year end charts contained hits from rock legends Guns N’ Roses, pop icons George Michael and Whitney Houston, and many more ’80s superstars like INXS, Rick Astley, Tiffany, Belinda Carlisle, Breathe, Steve Winwood, and Beatles legend George Harrison!

Without further ado, here are the music videos for the top ten pop songs of 1988!

#10 – Steve Windwood – ‘Roll With It’

#9 – Breathe – ‘Hands to Heaven’

#8 – Tiffany – ‘Could’ve Been’

#7 – Belinda Carlisle – ‘Heaven is a Place on Earth’

#6 – Whitney Houston – ‘So Emotional’

#5 – Guns N’ Roses – ‘Sweet Child O’ Mine’

#4 – Rick Astley – ‘Never Gonna Give You Up’

#3 – George Harrison – ‘Got My Mind Set on You’

#2 – INXS – ‘Need You Tonight’

#1 – George Michael – ‘Faith’
