Sixteen Candles was another great ’80s movie from John Hughes. It was the first movie that Hughes had directed. It starred Molly Ringwald, Anthony Michael Hall, and Michael Schoeffling in a coming-of-age comedy. The final scene in the movie is so ’80s and so perfect! Our favorite part of this scene is when Jake is walking Sam to his car and Sam’s dad looks over and she mouths, “This is the boy!!!” and he gives her the OK symbol.
