Rush – ‘Limelight’ Music Video from 1981

In 1981, Canadian rockers Rush released one of the best rock albums of the last 40 years with Moving Pictures. The entire album is awesome, and two of our favorite Rush songs were on this album. Tom Sawyer, which is probably Rush’s most popular song, and Limelight, the first single released from the album. Limelight was Rush’s first top five rock single in the US when it peaked at number four on the Mainstream Rock charts in 1981. It was also their first top 20 hit on the Canadian charts, peaking at number 18.

Enjoy this look back at Rush’s music video for Limelight as well as the music videos for Tom Sawyer and Red Barchetta, one of our all time favorite Rush songs!
