The late Richard Pryor appeared on the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson many times. In this interview from 1983, Pryor talks about how long he’s been sober and what it was like when he was drinking. When he talks about the bartender yelling “We got no more liquor!”, Johnny loses it, and I did as well. Richard Pryor was a comedic genius!
