Back in 1981, Poncho the singing parrot and his trainer David Frank appeared on the Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson, and Poncho’s singing truly impressed Johnny and the audience. Johnny remarked that most birds that appeared on the show were duds and weren’t in the mood to perform when they came on the show, but not Poncho!
