Laura Branigan – ‘Gloria’ Live on Solid Gold in 1982

January 16, 2018 By the80sruled Leave a Comment

In 1982, Laura Branigan released her first studio album titled Branigan. The album went Platinum thanks to the success of the second single Gloria. Gloria went number one in both Australia and Canada, and it peaked at number two in the US on the Hot 100 charts and number four on the US Dance charts.

Here she is performing ‘Gloria’ live on ‘Solid Gold’ back in 1982. Sadly, she passed away in her sleep in 2004 from a brain aneurysm. We miss you Laura… She had a wonderful voice and is sorely missed by her fans.
