Fleetwood Mac’s 13th studio album, Mirage was released in 1982 and included two of Fleetwood Mac’s most memorable songs. Hold Me was the first single released from the album, and it peaked at number four on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The second single released from the album was Gypsy, which peaked at number 12 on the Hot 100 and number four on the Mainstream Rock chart.
The music video for Gypsy was the highest-budget music video ever produced at the time, and it was the very first “World Premiere Video” on MTV in 1982. Enjoy this look back at Fleetwood Mac’s music video for Gypsy from 1982 as well as an incredible stripped down version of Gypsy from Stevie Nicks in 2015.
