Def Leppard’s 1987 single Animal was their first top 20 hit on the Hot 100 charts since Rock of Ages back in 1983. It also peaked at #5 on the Rock charts! It was the second single released from their Hysteria album, which is one of the most popular rock albums of the entire decade of the ’80s!
