Cinderella’s 1988 ‘Long Cold Winter’ album is one of the best hard rock albums of the entire decade of the 80s (in our honest opinion)! The album spawned four awesome singles including ‘Gypsy Road’, ‘Don’t Know What You Got (Till It’s Gone)’, ‘Coming Home’ and this one, ‘The Last Mile’.
For some unknown reason, they never achieved the chart success they should have with ‘The Last Mile’ peaking at number 18 on the rock charts. Even more baffling is their rock ballad, ‘Don’t Know What You Got (Till It’s Gone)’, which is one of the greatest songs from the 80s didn’t even make it into the top 10 on the Hot 100 charts, peaking at #12.
We’re here to give them the recognition they deserve because in our opinion, they’re one of the best rock bands of the 80s and 90s!
