During the ’70s, America scored six top ten hits on the Hot 100 charts including two number one hits for A Horse with No Name and Sister Golden Hair. Both were incredible songs that have stood the test of time, and in the ’80s they scored one more timeless hit with You Can Do Magic.
You Can Do Magic peaked at number eight on the Hot 100 charts and number five on the AC charts in 1982. It was their last top then single on the Hot 100 charts, but they did score one more top five AC hit in the ’80s with The Border in ’83 when it peaked at number four.
