In 1987, ‘Til Tuesday performed Voices Carry live during one of MTV’s 1987 Spring Break live concerts. ‘Til Tuesday was the band’s first single released from their 1985 debut studio album of the same name. It was a top ten hit on the Hot 100 chart, peaking at number eight. They scored one more top 40 hit on the Hot 100 chart in 1986 with What About Love, which peaked at number 26.

Our personal favorite song from ‘Til Tuesday is Coming Up Close, the second single released from their second studio album Welcome Home. Coming Up Close peaked at number 37 on the Mainstream Rock charts in 1986.

Enjoy this look back at ‘Til Tuesday performing Voices Carry, What About Love, and Coming Up Close live during MTV’s 1987 Spring Break Live in Daytona Beach!
