Uncle Buck was released in theaters in 1989 and starred the late John Candy as Uncle Buck, a slob who babysits his brother’s three kids, played by Macaulay Culkin (pre-Home Alone fame), Gaby Hoffman, and Jean Louisa Kelly. It was written and directed by John Hughes. According to Nostalgia Hit, John Candy appeared in more John Hughes films than any other actor.
