Diehard was released to theaters on July 15, 1988 and although it was released in the summer, many consider it a Christmas movie because the movie takes place on Christmas Eve. There are so many great scenes in the movie, but one of our favorites is the first time Hans and John (Alan Rickman and Bruce Willis) talk to each other over walkie talkie’s. It’s also the famous scene where John McClain says, “yippie-ki-yay mother(bleep)”!
