Aliens was released in 1986 and starred Sigourney Weaver as Lieutenant Ellen Ripley, the sole survivor of an alien attack on her ship. The movie was a hit with both audiences and critics, and it is now considered by to be one of the greatest science fiction movies from the ’80s.
