The Breakfast Club formed in New York City in 1979 and went through many different lineups. At one point, Madonna was actually the drummer before she made it big. In 1987, the band released their eponymous album on MCA Records and scored a hit single for Right On Track. Right On Track was a top ten hit on the Hot 100 charts, peaking at number seven. They were nominated for Best New Artist at the Grammy Awards in 1988, but their success was short-lived, and the band broke up in 1988. But, they left us with a good one!
