The Natural was a 1984 movie starring Robert Redford, Glenn Close, Kim Basinger, and Robert Duvall. The film followed the baseball career of Roy Hobbs (Robert Redford), a “natural”. Our favorite scene in the movie, and one of the greatest scenes in any sports movie, is this one where Roy hits his famous home run that shatters the lights in the park. This scene takes me back to the movie theater in 1984 when I literally was on the edge of my seat watching this scene. It still gives me chills to this day.
