The Steve Miller Band scored a ton of hits in the ’70s with songs like The Joker, Take The Money and Run, Rock’n Me, Fly Like an Eagle, and Jet Liner. And, in the early ’80s, they scored one of the biggest hits of their career with Abracadabra, which peaked at number one on the Hot 100 charts in 1982. Abracadabra was the first single released from the album of the same name. Unfortunately, this was their last top 40 hit on the Hot 100 charts. However, they did score four top ten rock hits in the late ’80s and early ’90s with I Want to Make the World Turn Around, Nobody But You Baby, Ya Ya, and Wide River.
Here’s a look back at the official music video for Abracadabra as well as a live performance from 1982!
