In 1986, The Human League released their fifth studio album Crash. The album produced their second number one hit on the Hot 100 charts with Human. Five years earlier, they had scored their first number one song on the Hot 100 charts with Don’t You Want Me.
AllMusic journalist Dave Thompson described Human as a “lovely romantic ballad. The lyrics make much of human mistakes and the need for human forgiveness in a thoroughly romantic context.” Enjoy this look back at The Human League’s music video for their second number one song Human.
