In 1980, the Village People scored their last number one single of their career when ‘Can’t Stop The Music’ hit number one in Australia. It was also a top 20 hit in the UK. Here in the U.S., it was a top 40 disco song peaking at #27 on the Billboard Disco Singles charts.
Of course, they’re mainly known for their two top five hits from the late ’70s, ‘Y.M.C.A’ and ‘In the Navy’!
