Night of the Comet was released in November 1984, and considering it’s budget of only $700,000, it was a mild success at the box office pulling in over $14 million. It has since become a cult classic for ’80s comedy/horror/sci-fi movie fans. It starred Catherine Mary Stewart, Kelli Maroney, and Robert Beltran as survivors of a comet that turned 90% of the earth’s population into either dust or zombies.
