The ’80s brought us some of the greatest movie scenes in history. There’s hilarious scenes like Chunk’s confession on the Goonies, Rodney Dangerfield’s famous line, “looks good on you though” and eye roll on Caddyshack, the paperboy’s demand for his $2 in Better Off Dead, the graduation scene in Stripes, the major award that was a Leg Lamp in A Christmas Story, and the mattress police scene in Fletch!
And, when it came to suspense, the coffee shop scene in Sudden Impact left us all sitting on the edge of our seats. There were awesome dramatic scenes like Louis Gossett, Jr.’s lineup scene in An Officer and A Gentleman, and who can forget M’Lynn’s breakdown scene from Steel Magnolias.
And, finally, one of our favorite movie scenes of all time comes from Roadhouse the first time Wade Garrett makes his appearance and helps Dalton kick some serious butt behind the Double Deuce!
