- Jonathan Banks – Born January 31, 1947 in Washington, D.C.! In the 80s, Banks appeared in some of the decade’s biggest films like “Stir Crazy,” “Airplane!,” “48 Hrs.,” and “Beverly Hills Cop.” In the late ’80s, he played FBI Special Agent Frank McPike in the TV series Wiseguy from 1987–1990, and for his role, he was nominated for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series. Fans today recognize him for his role as hitman and fixer Mike Ehrmantraut in both Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul as well as for the movie, El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie in 2019.
- Kelly Lynch – Born January 31, 1959 in Golden Valley, Minnesota! Kelly is best known by 80s fans for her performances in Cocktail, Road House, and Drugstore Cowboy. More recently, she had recurring roles on The L Word from 2004-2009, 90210 from 2010-2011, and Magic City from 2012-2013. She and producer/writer Mitch Glazer, who wrote 1998’s Scrooged have been married since 1992.
- John Lydon aka Johnny Rotten – Born January 31, 1956 in Finsbury Park, London, England! In 1977, the Sex Pistols released their debut and only studio album, Never Mind the Bollocks, Here’s the Sex Pistols. The album and the band were so controversial, that many record stores refused to carry it, but the album still debuted at number one on the UK album charts. By the time of its release, the Sex Pistols were already controversial, having spoken profanity on live TV, been fired from two record labels, and been banned from playing live in some parts of Britain. Lydon’s sneering delivery and almost “half-singing” have been seen as a “game-changer” and influenced the sound of countless bands ever since. After the Sex Pistols disbanded in 1978, Lydon formed his own band, Public Image Ltd. The band has released 11 studio albums between 1978 and 2023, but it’s safe to say that Lydon will forever be remembered and known as Johnny Rotten, the infamous lead singer of the Sex Pistols!
- Adrian Vandenberg – Born January 31, 1954 in The Hague, Netherlands. Vandenberg is best known for his tenure as one of the guitarists in Whitesnake during their successful late 1980s period.
