Manic Monday was The Bangles‘ breakthrough hit! It was the first single released from their 1986 album Different Light, and it peaked at #2 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts. They would go on to score their first number one hit on the Hot 100 charts with Walk Like an Egyptian from the same album.
