One of our favorite segments from Saturday Night Live during the ’80s was the Weekend Update. In this episode from Season 10 in 1984, Eddie Murphy is the guest on the Weekend Update, and he discusses the hottest dolls for the holidays. Eddie talks about how the Mr. T doll and the Brooke Shields dolls should date, and he also talks about how the GI Joe, Ken, and Barbie dolls have changed. It’s Eddie Murphy at his best in this classic SNL skit.

Enjoy this look back at Eddie Murphy discussing holiday dolls on Saturday Night Live in 1984!
