In 1986, Bon Jovi released their third studio album titled Slippery When Wet, and their lives were changed forever! All three singles from the album were top ten hits on the Hot 100 charts, with the first two going to number one. The first single was You Give Love A Bad Name, and it topped the Hot 100 charts on November 29, 1986 becoming the band’s first number one song on the Hot 100 charts. They followed it up with Livin’ on a Prayer, another number one song on the Hot 100 charts! The third and last single from the album was Wanted Dead or Alive, which peaked at number seven on the Hot 100 charts in 1987.

Enjoy this look back at Bon Jovi’s music video for You Give Love a Bad Name from 1986 as well as a live performance from 1989!
